A few days ago while flipping through channels I found Summer Heights High on HBO. It’s so funny! It’s an Australian show in the mockumentary style of The Office. It follows a preppy student named Ja’mie, Mr. G the drama teacher, and a troubled prankster Tongan student named Jonah through a semester. All three are played by Chris Lilley who is also the writer of the show. If you like Waiting for Guffman, you’ve got to check this out. There are lots of clips on youtube. Also check up We Can Be Heroes: Finding The Austrailian of the Year. Ja’mie is a spin-off character from that show. It’s definitely good for a few laughs. Here’s clips of each of the characters. If you like the one of Ja’mie, you’ve wouldn’t believe what “happens to her” the week before the Australian of the Year finals.
